Time to visit with friends while enroute to the next Project
As the Board meeting came to an end, we headed up towards Sequim for a couple of days to take care of a few matters before catching a flight back to Flint, Michigan to retrieve our RV at Mike and Linda's home in Vassar MI.
Our next destination was to be in Olmstedville, NY. Since we were passing through Buffalo, NY, we decided to stop and visit Niagara Falls. While checking in at the RV park, Mike , the owner, mentioned that we could put in reservations for tours to do both the American and Canadian sides of the falls. We had a peaceful nights sleep and woke up early to get ready for the tour bus scheduled pickup at 8AM for the American side.
Ed, our driver and tour guide is a retired army Sargent which was a refreshing eye opener since he handled the group with a no-nonsense, my way or the highway style with a compassionate twist to it. He ruled with an iron fist but listened to the concerns and took deliberate steps to address the special needs and requests. He even had snacks and cold refreshments at one of our stops!! Drill Sergeants should take lessons from this guy ☺.
For those that have been to the falls, these pictures may bring back memories. For those who have not seen this amazing display of our Creator's power and greatness, you really need to take the time and come see this spectacular and awe-inspiring phenomena.
THIS WILL BE HEAVY ON THE PHOTOS AND LIGHT ON THE TEXT 😉😊😊😊😌☺
