Rendezvous Time in Colorado Springs, CO

Every two years Construction Workers Christian Fellowship (CWCF) (link) invites all its members  from the different organizations under its umbrella to gather in one place for fellowship and updating  on what the latest happenings are with the ministry. We call it the "Rendezvous" for good reason. This year the site chosen for the event was the Glen Eyrie Conference Center in Colorado Springs, CO. (link)

What a stunning facility this is, being run and operated by the Navigators since 1953. This place is rich in history and we get to work and live in it. If ever you are in the Colorado Springs area this is a MUST visit site! Go to the website to read and see pictures of Glen Eyrie.

 

Part of what CWCf does while on the Rendezvous is work on designated projects. As seen on the sign up sheets, there was quite a variety of tasks to be undertaken, form a simple equipment shed roof shingle replacement to a complex handicapped "bridge" that needed to be demolished and rebuilt. A slab to be poured for the future RV Laundry/shower facility, composite decks, carriage house remodel, kitchen steam vents and even sewing of costumes for the annual Christmas Extravaganza that Glen Eryie puts up.
